THE SECRET UNICORN

Lauren’s magical pony, Twighlight turns into a unicorn when she says the magic words. Today, Lauren was so excited when her friends from the city came to stay, that she completely forgot she had a ticket for a pop concert by The Rezillos that night! Which was rather fortuitous as it turned out, because the unicorn would have been denied entry to the venue on health and safety grounds. So if you are intending to come along to any of our forthcoming ‘pop’ concerts, please leave your unicorns at home, we implore you!. I know this must grate somewhat, especially at a time when the government are intent on banning everything pleasurable, but all those twirly horns, why they could take somebody’s eye out for Gods sake.

THAT’S THE TICKET!

Early reports indicate that ticket sales are already going quite well, particularly for the larger venues in London and Edinburgh, and also hopefully for the venues that don’t sell larger. So thanks to all of you who are showing early support. And as for the rest of you, - c’mon, buck your ideas up!

Friday December 3rd: Newcastle. The Archer

Saturday December 4th: London. The Mean Fiddler 2.

Sunday December 5th: Sheffield. Club Zero.

Friday December 17th: Aberdeen. The Lemon Tree.

Saturday December 18th: Edinburgh. The Liquid Room

MERCHANDISE

We will have some choice new items in the "Rezillo Products" range on sale at all of the venues we’ll be visiting, and Willy, our merchandise salesman, will be ready to serve you from the menu at the bottom of the page.

INTERVIEWS WITHOUT THE VAMPIRE

As The Vampire was unavailable, we’ve been busy with another couple of interviews, one for the ‘Punk & Oi’ website, which is online now at: www.punkoiuk.co.uk/interviews/rezillos.htm , and also an edited version of our www.rezillos.com website interview, which will appear in ‘The Big Takeover’, this is an interesting and informative US fanzine with a huge circulation produced by one ‘Jack Rabid’. For more information tune your world wide internet monitors to: www.bigtakeover.com . Incidentally the ‘Punk & Oi’ website also contains a glowing review of our Brighton ‘Concorde 2’ gig of last year ...which is nice.

THE REINDEER’S BELL

Late on Christmas Eve, a boy boarded the Polar Express, bound for the North Pole. When he arrived, Santa offered him any gift he desired. The boy asked for a ticket to a Rezillos pop concert. Stroking his big white beard, Santa looked down at the boy and said, "What d’ you want to go and see them fer, they’re a load o’ bluddy rubbish, ‘ere, have this reindeer’s bell instead". So if you want to be sure of seeing a Rezillos pop concert this December boys and girls, don’t rely on the red suited fat beardy git, get your tickets from one of the following retail agents:

PUSH PUSH IN THE BUSH

The schedule for the long awaited ‘Empire Strikes Back’ US tour is gradually being finalised, and looks like happening around late March / Early April of 2005. We should also have the "Rezillos Radio Times" CD released by then, with the expected release date still being early next year. The ‘Clyde FM’ radio session and interview with Mr. Billy Sloane, from which will feature four or five tunes on the CD along with the Peel Sessions, will now be broadcast shortly before our two Scottish dates in mid December. We don’t have an exact date and time of transmission yet, but we’ll keep you posted. I love the Radio, or ‘Wireless’ as we used to call it during the dark days of space exploration, freedom of choice and loud effeminate rock groups. It’s like watching the telly with your eyes closed.

MEDIA STUDIES

Any of you who have been watching Jon Ronsons intriguing documentary "Crazy Rulers of the World" on Channel 4 might be interested to know that a pdf file of Jim Channons "First Earth Battalion Field Manual" can be downloaded at: www.disinfotainmenttoday.com/field_manual.pdf . This fascinating series makes a good companion piece to "The Power Of Nightmares" recently shown on BBC2. Catch these excellent documentaries if they are ever repeated on TV. ....And youse thought we were mental!

Imagine that Bridget Jones, going for the boring straightpeg again!
